Hit your cap, new calls pause. That's it.

When your monthly credit usage reaches the plan cap, the API returns HTTP 429 and pauses until the period resets. There is no overage tier, no surprise invoice, no metered surcharge. You set a ceiling and we honor it.

Need more headroom? Upgrade your plan and the new cap applies immediately.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What's a credit?

Credits are how we meter usage. A waypoint (a single point) costs 1 credit. A track or route costs 1 credit per 100 points — so a 1–100-point track is 1 credit, a 101–200-point track is 2, and so on. A call to /v1/enrich consumes the sum of its features' credits, returned as credits on the 202 response and on the job status. Calls we reject before processing — a validation error, or a 429 when you're at your cap — don't count. The road-lookup step the demo uses is not separately billed.

What happens when I reach my cap?

The API returns HTTP 429 and pauses serving until your monthly period resets, or until you upgrade. You are never charged overage — there's no metered surcharge above the plan price.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Billing is handled by Clerk & Stripe; you can cancel or change plans from your dashboard at any time. Changes to a higher cap take effect immediately.

Is the Pro trial really free?

Pro includes a 14-day free trial. You won't be billed until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no charge.

Is this production-proven?

The same API powers GPX Wand and the live demo on the home page. Every call on this site hits the real production API — what you test is what you ship.
